Well, I work from home as a medical transcriptionist. I wanted a big dog with a big ol' bark to warn me of people at the house as I can't hear anything when I have my earphones on all day. Marley has been a wonderful security and has gone beyond the call of duty when it comes to being a pal for my son and a stress reliever for my dear husband after a busy day's work. He's everything we wanted in a dog and I can't imagine life without Marley. I might as well have given birth to the little guy, he's another child for sure!
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
Marley is a white doodle, nonshedding, born St. Patricks' Day 2008. He loves kids, boating, chasing squirrels, walking around with slippers in his mouth and helping mom garden and especially catching bubbles. He also has this weird thing he does in his water dish.. he blows bubbles. He sticks his nose in the water completely and blows!!! He makes us laugh every day!

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

Thanks Suzanne. It was great meeting you and Marley. Hope we can meet at the Pitt again soon. I love this website but I'm still trying to figure things out.
Maybe we'll see you this weekend...are you going?
Marley is very cute. He's like a larger version of our Daisy. Her dad was a cross between a std and a miniature poodle. She's just 6 months and 28 lbs. We're expecteing her to top out between 35 and 40 lbs.
I don't think I'll ever get tired of looking at pictures of doodles. They are the coolest dogs.
Hi Suzanne! I just joined Doodlekisses, and noticed one of your blogs. I clicked on it to see more and read your profile. I had to comment on something your adorable Marley does, because my Cookie does the same thing! Blowing bubbles in their water! I can't believe it! I had never seen a dog do anything like it, and now I learn, maybe it's a doodle thing! Cookie will also play with the bubbles with her paw. We all get such a kick out of it! Doodles are so much fun! Well, just had to share, thanks for sharing Marley's trick with us too! Pam
The lion costume is actually a toddler outfit. I isn't even made for dogs. We were just messing around and put it on him to take a picture. We think it is pretty cute.
when did you get that snow? Can't wait for fergie to see snow. I got her in April so it was gone in WI by then. Is this early for snow even for Canada, or no? it will be here soon.
My hubby Clark, (who just posted below) called me over "Have you seen that new member who has a dog named Marley?" He was raving about how cute Marley is and he's RIGHT! LOVE your photos...makes me want a cream doodle to add to my little 2 doodle collection...he's a total doll! Welcome Suzanne!
