About Me:: I live in Aurora Colorado with 2 dogs, a cockatiel and 2 parakeets. I've been in Colorado all my life and love it here because of the mountains and the 4 seasons.
I'm an animal lover and support organizations that help animals.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have a labradoodle - F1B, 2 years old. Mom is a labradoodle and Dad is an AKC Registered standard poople. I believe Twitch's color is Cafe, he continues to get lighter. Twitch is a big dog, 29" at the shoulder. He is charming and funny.
My other dog, Bear, is a spaniel mix and is1 1 years old. Bear is diabetic and has insulin shots twice a day.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I didn't choose Twitch, I believe he chose me. I wasn't looking for a dog, but fell into a "meant to be" situation that has been wonderful for both me and my pets.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: I love to walk him and play with his toys. He loves to jump up to grab his toys in mid air.

Twitch reminds me a lot of my labradoodle, Hondo, who passed away about a year ago. Hondo was an F1 labradoodle, so Twitch has a bit more poodle in him. Enjoy meeting the folks here at DoodleKisses.

I M thinking about making rugs for my boys with their own hair. Of course, I will need to cut the hair first and my DH doesn't want me to do that. Maybe after the winter is over.

Actually, he looks a lot like my Hondo. Maybe you would be interested in the Chocolate Doodles group too. Anyway, check the groups out. A lot of our dogs really resemble each other. And, have a great time here at Doodle Kisses.
By the way, I love Colorado also. I spent some time there riding bikes and working on the Continental Divide Trail near Frisco. My husband is one of those crazy guys who goes on week long road rides and self-contained mountain bike rides that Colorado is known for.
