About Me:: We live in MN and just purchased a golden doodle from Whispering pines and will pick him up in early April.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Mini Golden Doodle named Lucky.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Low shedding and like golden retrievers.

I know Donnawould be interested in taking Chance too. It would be fun to get the 3 doodles together (when the weather gets nicer.)

Sorry it has taken so long to reply....4 kids and a puppy can keep a mom busy! Gunner is 26 1/2lbs and will be 8 months on Aug. 1st. He is about 18" at the withers so is tall and lean. I keep hoping that he is done growing. How big has Lucky gotten? Yesterday, we got together with Chance for a romp in the park here in Woodbury. Gunner loves to be outside wether playing or just laying around. The kids love him dearly and are good help. We should take him to obedience classes, but haven't gotten signed up for them yet. For the most part, he is really good, but there are a few things we need to work on or at least I need to learn how to teach him. We were peeking at the whispering kennel website and saw there were 3 more litters of puppies.

At 1:05pm on April 24, 2010, Vicki Holst said…: How is Lucky doing? We have Gunner from Whispering Kennels as well. Hi parents are Thad and Sandy. We picked him up on Jan. 30th. He potty trained pretty quickly! Gunner loves to play and lets the kids pick him up and carry him, put him in the doll stroller, and even the dump truck. He loves to chase a ball too!

Our Chance has been a really good puppy. He is calm, yet playful, smart, and of course handsome!! I know it is hard to wait, but three weeks will be here before you know it. Good Luck!!
