About Me:

I am a Dog & Cat lover and a retired from hunter. I have raised several hunting and service dogs over the years. I have tained dogs and now find myself disabled and will be training my own Service Dog, her name is Lucy. She is a smart girl eager to please and to learn. She is a joy to have in our home. I look forward to our friendship during the next many years.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

Lucy is an F1 Labradoodle. She is a beautiful girl who if she grows into her paws she will be a big girl about 75 pounds. She has black loose curls and a face with eyes that melts your heart. She came into our home joining our Lab Bucky and king cat Dill.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I have raised both Labs and Goldens and love both breeds. I Choose Lucy for her low/non sheading coat. I wasn't sold on the breed until I saw Lucy's face. I fell for her from her photos and meeting her sealed the deal

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Travel with her. As she is a service dog in training she will go everywhere I go and alert if I fall, hopefully she will have the ability to alert me if I am about to have a neurological episode. My Lab and Golden both can. Lucy has shown that she will also have this ability. I also have a form of PTSD that just having a animal with me brings the stress to a level I can handle.

A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?

I brush her daily and keep hair out of her eyes.
