- About Me:
- My husband and I are retired. We like spending time around our home as well as taking walks in park and forest areas, going to outdoor fairs in surrounding towns and traveling several times a year.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- We have had shih-tzu's for over 20 years, as well as having 3 shih-tzu's in our children's families. After losing our beloved Buddy in October, we're considering a medium-sized Australian labradoodle, hoping to combine a more athletic build with the sweetness and loving personality we've been blessed with in our home.
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I started investigating doodles because I have concerns regarding indescriminate breeding causing problems in current shih-tzu's, but I wanted a non-shedding dog with a good personality. My search has opened up potential for therapy training and intelligence levels that give me options for retirement activities more than I had ever hoped for.
