A Chocolate Doodle--Hope

Faith & Hope are sisters and were born 4/10/08

A Grey Cockatiel--Lilo
A Yellow Cockatiel--Boo

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I' ve always wanted a bigger dog, but could not handle the hair all over the house. My dream dogs have always been a German Shepherd or a Black Lab, so when they came up with this whole Labradoodle thing it seemed like the perfect dog for me. These wonderful personalities combined with the lack of shedding are perfect.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: I Love to love my doodles.

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: I have taken them to a groomer twice now--both times they butchered them! :(

Favorite Doodle Products?: My dogs favorite thing is when I give them something stuffed with food. They really like the hollow bones and I make a mixture of different things (canned food, peanut butter, cottage cheese, pumpkin, etc) and fill the bone and freeze it. Same thing with the "Kongs". They will spend an hour licking their Ice Cream Cones. They also like the "Food Cube" that you fill with kibbles and treats.

Either she has lost weight with all the walking we are doing or she has gained weight with all the restaurant eating she is doing. Every restaurant here that has outdoor seating welcomes dogs! She is in heaven!! I will be putting together a smilebox tomorrow with pictures from her 1st birthday pawty we had for her tonight at a very nice French restaurant. A DK member we met here in Florida, joined us for the pawty.

Samantha & I live in Short Hills, NJ. She begged & pleaded to get out of the cold and DH & I finally gave in and we left NJ for our apartment in Florida. On the way we stopped to visit friends in Richmond. Belinda from the Richmond group invited us over to meet her and she surprised us with 16 Doodles that came over to play. We have also met several DK members here in Florida. You have found a wonderful extended family here in DK.

Do I see correctly that one of your Doodles is Chocolate? If I am correct, nextg weeks side show is for Chocolates. Download a picture and tag is as 'chocolate2' - all lower case.
