Austrailian labradoodle. His name is Cedar and he is 5 months or so. he loves ripping paper and barking for attention.

they don't shed and they are supposed to have great family personalities

Awww, that definitely is the puppy in him! Hate to say it but they really don't totally calm down until at least two :) My little Kona is a barker too, when she is unsure of things or people she barks. She will also bark at her brother and friends when she is trying to get them to play.
You might want to join the group Puppy Madness, lot's of people there dealing with puppy issues. Gina

LOL that's a great way to name a pup! Ours love to tear paper too, we usually give them the paper bags after grocery shopping. They have a blast with them :)
