About Me:: i raised 3 WONDERFUL kids, all went to college and have promising careers. my husband & i have been together for 38 years. i grew up in a small norcal community where my family still resides. i miss my kids and have been kinda lost since the last one left in 2006.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: i have a female chocolate labradoodle F1. her name is cali & my daughter rescued her from a tennessee breeder. she flew cross country w/us to CA the first time we met her. my daughter was too busy w/school & career to care for her. we have 2 cats. both adopted us, and cali LOVES the male one. they groom each other & sleep side-by-side.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: my daughter fell in love w/her. she did LOTS of research on doodles. now that i've had one in my life, i don't think i'd be able to get another breed, ever.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: we walk to the park daily. it's a 35-40 min. walk &she makes sure we DO it, EVERYDAY! she keeps us exercising as well as laughing, all the time. they are SO smart, she looks at me when i talk & begins to understand the words i say. not only sit, stay, etc. she knows walk, park, outside, eat, up the hill or down to the park. she loves me unconditionally. if i go out for a min. or an hr. she is on her back legs jumping & barking hello to me when i return. they are very funny & fun.

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: we do. if we brush her often enough, it keeps the shedding down. we bathe & trim her every 3 months or so.

Favorite Doodle Products?: she eats iams lamb & rice. she has a few squeaky toys. she plays fairly gentle w/them. she likes to make them squeak, but she doesn't chew them up. she shakes her "little man" like crazy in her mouth. she'll take the toys outside & fetch a little, but brings them inside w/coaxing from us. she doesn't want to fetch balls, but LOVES to swim.

Would you be willing to Dog Sit on occasion for other DoodleKisses members? (You are NOT committing to anything by saying yes - you are just saying you might be willing to do this if you were acquainted with the other member and the circumstances were right.): Yes

They have the same sire, but different mothers! I agree with you - I do not see us having any other breed either.
