About Me:: I gave my boyfriend Paulo a gift this past Christmas - it was a cute adorable golden doodle that was presented to him on Christmas Eve with a big red bow around her neck - we named her Luna. We have enjoyed every minute of this cuddly, funny, lovable doodle that has entertained us and changed our lives immensely. We have 2 other dogs that are getting older and the new puppy energy is good for them.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Luna is a Goldendoodle, our other 2 are pound puppies - Chloe is a Germen shepard mix and Pebbles is a terrior cockerpoo mix. Luna is a year old and the other 2 are 12 years old.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I have always wanted a doodle, mainly because they are so damn cute, they don't shed, great disposition, intelligent and so, so lovable. I wanted the standard poodle mix as I love the long lanky look. It is like having a cuddly bear to hug!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: We wash Luna mostly but occasionly we take her to The Dog Wash on Serene and Eastern.

I don't know if you are aware of this, but many vets are willing to do house calls when the time comes to put them to sleep. We did this with our Siberian Husky and it allowed him to go very peacefully in a familiar, comfortable, relaxed environment. (Our vet only charged an extra $55 for the house call.)

Thank you, again, for your hospitality and letting Toby come over to play with Luna last weekend! She is SOOOO SWEET!!! :) I think some people might be meeting tomorrow but I'm not sure where. My schedule is pretty busy this weekend, so I might have to wait until next weekend to meet up.

At 7:29pm on October 28, 2010, Linda and "Toby" said…: Mostly I just take him for walks in our neighborhood. (We have a nice walkway that goes from one park to the other. I wish one of them had a dog park!) I would love to socialize him with some of the other doodles in town, but they meet quite far from us (like at Dog Fanciers or the new Bark park) and Toby gets sooooo nervous when he rides in the car. By the time I got there, he'd be too stressed out to enjoy himself. Is there one you enjoy going to that has nice/friendly dogs?
