My first day with Dyson alone

Well the kids are back in school and it's just me and Dyson in the mornings now. I didn't get started as quick as i wanted but we still managed a walk to the pet store to pick up a new 6' leash and a good quality rubber ball. Dyson has issues with destroying toys. He's already destroyed a Kong Wubba. the only toys he hasn't destroyed are the harder all rubber ones like the original Kong, which he has. Anyway I am hoping to do some umbilical training with Dyson so that I can do things around the house and have him with me. I still don't trust him fully and he is still only allowed in one part of the house. We are trying to get him used to different parts of the house but only when my wife or I can supervise him fully. We do leave him in his part of the house for short periods but he does sometimes get into trouble. Some times I feel like I should coat the whole house in bitter apple.

Well anyway after our walk to the pet store we continued with a nice long walk. We got back about an hour ago and he is still panting like he just ran the Boston Marathon. I think he may be a little out of shape.... Well I think I will work on that for this week and maybe some other training next week.
