A birthday doggie dessert

It was Luna's second birthday yesterday... and I decided to make her a special birthday treat.  She has a sensitive tummy, so I stuck with things that haven't caused her any troubles in the past.  

First, I took some of her favorite fruits and some peanut butter and blended them until smooth.  I then added a small container of low-fat vanilla yogourt (didn't have any plain).

I then spooned the blended mixture into some small plastic dishes (she's a little lady... small portions!) and added in some more freshly chopped fruit.

I froze the portions the night before.. and after her birthday dinner I put one in her bowl for a special dessert!

The result met with rave reviews - it smelled very peanutty and she loved it.  I did land up chopping it into smaller pieces because she was going to tire herself out with all the licking!  I still have two more little cups of her dessert left to give her at another time.  Spoiled little lady!

That's wonderful, what a great recipe and Happy belated Birthday to Luna too.  Looks like she really enjoyed that.  I think I will make that one myself too for Riley.
