I let Callie sleep in my bed with me...I know I should make her sleep in her very own bed, but she's so delicously snuggly! Callie's general MO is that she gets in my bed, and while I'm still awake reading she comes and lays her head on my chest so I can pet her ears and nose. Then, when I'm ready to go to sleep, she goes to the end of the bed, curls up and goes to sleep. This morning, when I woke up, she was snuggled up next to me, and her paw was on my hand, like she was holding my hand while I was asleep. So CUTE. So SWEET. Is it any wonder that I adore this dog!

Our Gracie Doodle has been sleeping with us since she was 6 months old. The crate is long gone! She is on our bed when we get in. I absolutely love to pull her up and put her head on my pillow to share with me. Then we spoon and I whisper to her how much I love her and what a good girl she is. She will stay for an hour or so and then either move to the foot of the bed or leave. She gets too hot since we sleep under a down comforter. But, we have the windows open and the ceiling fan on. We do everything we can to make the room really cold so she will stay! She does come back around 6 AM and visits each of us for a face lick, then she jumps up on the bed and comes and snuggles with me. She loves to sleep in. Never in a hurry to get up. I have never had a dog to snuggle with because of the shedding. That is what is so great about a Doodle. You can just wrap your body completely around them and there is no fur on you or in your bed. Though with the ceiling fan on her "poofer" (curls on the top of her head) tickle my nose!! Every bed should have a Doodle in it!!

I really love having Callie sleep with me. I work all day and sometimes feel like I don't get to spend enough time with her, but somehow feel like sleep time is quality time with her, because I know it makes her happy. So excited for this weekend when I can spend lots of time with her!!

Jenna B - when Chianti is bigger and falling isn't a danger, go out of town for the weekend and leave Chianti home alone with your husband. I'd bet that Chianti spends allllllll weekend sleeping in y'alls bed!

I have a Goldendoodle & a Labradoodle & they both love to sleep with my husband. A lot of the time her will have 1 on each side of his chest. They are just so sweet. They just love to be next to you when you sleep. I can't imagine our lives without these babies. I don't care what anyone says, you can't make them sleep on the floor. Like it or not you will let them on the bed. These dogs are just big snuggle bears. After I wake up in the morning my dogs get about 15 to 30 min of mommy time. They are just the best start to my day.

Halas is super-snuggly, too, mostly in the morning. I call it cuddle-dood time. A couple minutes before the alarm goes off, he moves from the foot of the bed to somewhere near my head. He just lays right next to me and dozes off. Then, if I put my hand by him, he licks it for awhile. After he thinks he's given a sufficient number of hand kisses, he'll let me scratch his belly and pet him. It really is so sweet. But it makes me not want to get up in the morning. He's just too warm and cuddly.

These stories make me sad that my husband is so anti Chianti in bed. She crawls in with me in the morning after he goes to work, but its just not the same. I hope once she can get on and off herself he might reconsider, right now I am afraid she might fall off.

I feel the same way. Remington is always laying right next to me when I wake up. I don't care what people say... he is always welcome in my bed!

She was a total nightmare in the rain today (trying to drink from every puddle, splashing around, rolling on the wet grass, etc, so it's nice to have the sweet side to focus on too!
