Are Vern and Fudge Billionaires?

I was reading an article about a couple in Texas yesterday who are worth 4 Billion dollars and are looking for ways to give it away.  They were currently interested in a nutritional study on how we lose weight yaada yaada really I stop reading too closely after I noticed their names....John and Laura (sic) Arnold. Some of you ( really, only some of you?) may be following the adventures of Fudge and Vern and most particularly their mom, Laurie  (and DH John) who is obviously an alias for this Texas couple who, in the picture,  are surprisingly young looking, not tall or wearing orange bikinis. And most shocking of all, there was no mention whatsoever of dogs in this article.  So I'm not sure if Laurie (Laura) lives in PA or TX but if she wants to help me lose weight, I'm OK with that.

Oh thank you Jeanne....this explains it all.  I'm wondering if Laurie enlisted the help of F and Doris to do that thing where they drive around all over the country ringing doorbells and giving away $$$$$.  I know F is acting like she doesn't know anything about this...but I'm guessing that's just because she doesn't want to blow her cover...she watches that show Person Of Interest, and I'll bet she's been taking notes.  I'm so bummed because they wanted to meet up with ME...and I had a conflict.  Now I get it....they wanted to give a bunch of money to me, G & M.  I so wish I had changed my plans.

I'm with you, F!!  Had I known about Laurie's (Laura's) billionaire status, I would have ooh'ed and aww'ed about her entry in the cruise door contest a bit more.  Now I get why she can blow big money of useless things like gigantic roosters!!!

Me too!!! Please post a link, you can't possibly use that much money. Laurie is so down to earth you'd never know what a pile of money she has. I would have been much nicer to her all along had I known.
