Back from Cool CA

We are home, unfortunately...... Santa Barbara was fantasticly cool and refreshing. We walked to the park everyday, and had fun on the beach too. Buddy loves to run in the Ocean, and Kona had fun rolling on and dragging every dead bird and animal she could find on the beach (YUCK). I knew we were in trouble when the Turkey Vultures were swirling around, Kona just followed the birds for a nice smelly treat :)

We were visiting my Aunt and she has two Australian Sheppards and they all got a long really well. We visited the dog show in Ventura, Buddy was a butt and wouldn't jump anything, but Kona got a leg, my sweet little girl. We met so many nice people at the show, this might have to be an annual thing.

Nice to be home, but I sure miss those 70 degree days, it is supposed to hit 107 here in Vegas today :( Fall can't come soon enough!

Oh how I wish Nancy :) We are unfortunately stuck here for a few months of roasting heat!
Thanks for the congrats, I knew right away Buddy was wayyy too relaxed, too much beach I guess. He sure got a lot of attention though, that's what he enjoys.

Congrats to Kona for her achievement! Kudos to Buddy for having a relaxing vacation amid the pressures of performances. I know just how you feel about arriving home. We go home Thursday to the smoggy Riverside heat. Our salvation is knowing we will be leaving again Tuesday. Feel free to join us on the California coast.
