My dogs got out because someone left the gate open. After looking and looking for them I found them in the worst spot ever!! On the very top
ledge of the dam, water gushing around them police and firemen taking
about "darting" them down. Which is about 100 feet up in the air and
fenced in.. all is fine now however... they are home covered with burrs and I'm having a drink!!

sure am glad things turned out well. This is my biggest fear is exactly, so we have begun putting a lock on the gate and the only ones with a key are my dh and myself.

OMG! I would definitely say you NEED a drink after that! You must have died when yo saw them... so glad everything turned out well. Now TRY and put it out of your head and relax with some very much needed doodle hugs and cuddles!

Phew, what a scare. I'm glad it all worked out OK. I hope he dogs got a bit of a scare and won't even think about going there again.
