I'm glad you are in touch with a specialist and glad that Winston is currently doing well. Hope that continues!

Aw thanks! Yes the vet called and the specialist had the same question regarding the narrowing of the pylorus and I guess he has slight displacement of his pylorus and deudonum which could be causing his symptoms. Obviously to confirm a scope/biopsy would need to be done . Right now Winston is eating, having solid poops, and not vomiting so we are going to wait since he has been through so much in the last month!

Jack's pylorus was also narrowed when he was diagnosed with IBD. So to me, this just confirms my first instinct that you should see a veterinary internal medicine specialist.

I love my vet, and still use him, but I have to say I wasted about $600 on meds that didn't help and tests that didn't confirm anything (including barium swallow) and three weeks of time during which Jack got sicker and sicker before he was finally so sick that I was referred to the specialist.

GP vets, no matter how good they are, cannot be experts in diagnosing and treating every single disease.

Please consult a specialist.

Thank you. The vet had to send the X-rays off to get a second opinion because the pyloris looked narrow on multiple pictures.
