Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
So it has been quite a while since I have been on here. I will read some of the postings that come to my email, but getting on the actual website is not as often as I dreamed it would be. Bug is just a couple of days shy of 7 months. He is growing, adorable, and shedding like crazy! I am interested to see if this shedding will remain this bad for his entire life, or if it is some sort of phase he is in. It doesn't bother me as much as it bothers my boyfriend… but it can be tough at times, I won't lie.
Tomorrow Bug is going to get neutered. I am intrigued by how much this will calm him down. I am not the best at getting his walks in (arctic freeze outside) and he pulls like crazy until he chokes himself. He gets the most exercise when we go to my Boyfriend's where he can run around off the leash.
Bug absolutely loves the snow… crazy pup! And I secretly love seeing him prance around in it and bury his nose in it.
He is still the love of my life, and I am excited to see what else he has in store for me.
Oh! Apples and Peanut Butter are some of his favorite snacks!
Doodle Love to all! xo

I hope the neutering went well.
Thanks for the info on shedding. I seem to think, it is here to stay but happy to hear that Luna's calmed down to being seasonally… hoping Bug's does that too! Nancy, Ned, and Clancy is your shedding constant or more seasonal!?
Bug's neutering went great! No problems! He came prancing out of the back of the clinic I took him to. Anesthesia has nothing on him! haha Came home, had a typical appetite, slept pretty good and is seriously acting just like himself. So happy it went well. Thanks for all the comments and love… xoxo
Luna looks a lot like Bug and she has continued to shed. It was the worst around the 7-10 month mark, but now it's really bad seasonally (Spring/Fall).
Thanks for the update!
Nice to hear your update. As for the shedding - it is probably going to continue. I have a big shedder also.
Nice to see your update on Bug...wishing him a safe & speedy recovery. We use the Easy Walk Harness and it works like a charm.
Easy Walk will make a huge difference. Hope Bug has an easy recovery. Keep us posted.
Nice to see you again. Apples and Peanut Butter are the best.
We agree with Linda about trying the Easy Walk Harness :) The harness also saves that throat and your arms.
Good Luck.
Love your profile photo. zNice to see an update on Bug! You might try the Easy Walk Harness. The leash attaches to the front of the harness and it makes it difficult for them to pull because when they do it turns them around back to you. Enjoy your beautiful boy!
