Can you tell when your doodle is HAPPY?

What does your doodle do when they are most excited or happy?

Zoe does a happy dance.  It's a cross between a dance and a skip with a beat.  left, left...right, right...left, left... right,  right...all while skipping towards you.  She also has her mouth open with her tongue slightly out...looks like she's smiling =)

Bender yaps!  it's like a bark but a "YAP YAP YAP"!  It's kind of annoying but he can't help it!  haha

He also leaps.  Leaps from the second or third step of the deck to the ground.  Leaps from the cement to the grass.  Leaps right into you (sometimes knocking me over because he's getting BIG)

[Laurie, Fudge, and Vern]

My two start wrestling when they get excited about a walk or something. Or I should say Vern pounces on Fudge and Fudge runs :) When I come home from somewhere they wiggle all over and Vern lets out a "woo woo woo!" and Fudge brings you a toy to try and distract Vern so she can get all the greetings!

They both do the fly-by nose-bump on my palm when they're excited. Not sure how to explain it ... it's like they're kissing my hand as they race back and forth. Lachlan's a smile-and-wiggler, although when he's really happy he's been known to leap up and dig at my stomach with both front paws (we're working on that, sigh). He also loves to hold onto my hand (I call it the Lachlan-hug). It's a very gentle mouth-press - he never, ever bites down. Declan's a spin in circles and grin from ear to ear boy. He does the "pulling the lips back from the front teeth" smile and dances in circles making the funniest "groo-roo-roo" sound deep in his throat.

When my Gracie Doodle smiles!  She loves to smile and wag her tail in a circle!  I swear, I can just see her face light up when she is truly happy...

[Ricki and Tara (doodle)]

Tara wags her entire body. It is so funny and very hard to describe but so CUTE!!  Also she does what I call a "fly- by".  This is when she runs toward you from the side and leaps into the air just as she is gets to you and she is about a foot out from you. If you stick out your hand she will kiss it as she flies by! So sweet!!!

My Sasha has this bounce to her step and her tail will not stop wagging. My Oliver is a happy go-lucky kind of guy where he just like to put his head in my lap and stare up at me while I give him lots of lovin' and of course his tail wags like crazy. Both my doodles are waiting at the door when I come home from work. I always say " hello my doodles Mommy is home" and they go nuts, running back and forth, we can't get enough of each other - I love my doodles !!!!

I love reading about all of these different Happy expressions from other doodles.   I have to say Banjo is a pretty "sedate" guy.....not terribly expressive one way or the other.   When he's running around the back yard or in the woods he's always got a smile going....but other than that about all we get is a slow waggin tail.

Zoe likes to fine the nearest toy too! Aww love hearing all the happy actions!

No jumping from Knox, but he finds the nearest toy, puts it in his mouth, and nuzzles up to you with his whole body wiggling and his tail going crazy!

All the happy doodle dances and wiggles are sooo cute and it makes me giddy imagining all of them!
