Amos has a new gig, now he loves coffee, should you leave your cup unattended he will gladly help himself and will not spill a drop.....Oh yes, he prefers it sweetened with cream..

Funny! We had a miniature poodle who was addicted to coffee. He was raised in a military recreation center and everyone would lay down their coffee cups and he would clean them up. When he got older, he would start salivating at the scent of coffee and would bug us forever until he got our cups to clean up. Since we usually drink our first cups of coffee in bed in the morning, that was the start of his day. He woud sit and stare at us intently until we laid down our mugs. He did live 17 1/2 years with lots of coffee, so I guess it was not too toxic for him.

K is also a big time coffee drinker, we have to watch our morning coffee closely. Actually he is big time counter surfer, he will help himself with anything within his reach, coffee, soup, muffins, etc.

That's true. caffeine is potentially toxic to dogs, people too. there is a condition called caffeinism seen in people! Back to dogs, coffe, coffee grounds, tea etc. not so good for dogs.

Now that is a new one. Any problem with Doodles drinking coffee? My mother always told me it stunted your grown as she would pour herself a cup. I hate coffee or anything related to coffee smell or flavor still today...and I am only 5'1"...go figure!
