February 1st (off doodle subject)
Today, Dylan had a swim meet. He has been improving lately and I have been amazed in what he is able to do.
Anyways..............today he received is VERY first swim patch............which is called the NAG B patch in the 50 Yard Backstroke. The standard time he needed to beat was 49.15..............he swam it in 49.05.
It was so exciting to see and we were all there to see it . I really think he does not understand the whole thing about winning a patch is an honor and a great achievement :) But we are going to do something special for him to try to make him understand how wonderful that was :)

That's wonderful Holly! Both our kids swim and we get so excited when their times improve! He'll "get it" and in time be excited too but for now I completely understand your pride! Congratulations to all of you! Well done Dylan!!!!
