Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
This has been a lovely experience and it is almost over. I have met great new people (the new owners) and have had a chance to spend 8 terrific weeks with the 8 terrific pups--now we must prepare for the big send-off. I will be keeping a few at home a bit longer--they are staying in my breeder's program and will stay here until they go with her or to guardian homes. One is the red wool pup--his official name is now Sorcerer's Apprentice and his call name is Presto!
The other is Honey bear (purple pup) who is going to Italy where my breeder is working with an Italian breeder to start a therapy dog program with Labradoodles for autistic children. Everyone else will be gone by the 29th. I am pleased to say that Daisy, the little Yellow wool female is keeping her name! it certainly suits her, so that is nice.
Kelly green (now Enso)--his eyes are now light green
Jasper (Light blue, aka Nutmeg) has hazel eyes
Honey bear
Above is Winnie now known as Finlay (Royal blue). He is the cutest!!
I seem to be unable to add any more photos--i always get 6 puppies in and then it stops! here is Daisy below and I will add Patch and Rosebud to the comments once it is approved.

That's great about Rosie and Daisy! Two of my favorite doodle names too!! Glad that Enso is settling in nicely in his new home. I can just see a visual of your son and the puppies!! It sounds like Puppy Love to me!!!
Update==Enso (kelly green) is doing very well in his new home and it is certainly quieter here. Rosie left this morning and the mom told me that they are keeping her name! (That makes me so happy--I named the two girls Daisy and Rosebud seconds after they were born and they are both keeping their names--fun!)
Nutmeg (now Jasper) and Pooh bear leave Friday and Winnie (now Finlay) leaves Saturday. Daisy leaves Monday--then there will be just two left for a while. I will post pics of the happy families when all are gone. My son came home last night and loves puppies--he is 20 yrs old and goes to college so he is seeing them for the first time. He lays on the floor and lets them crawl all over him--needless to say, the puppies just love him right back.
They are absolutely gorgeous. I love the green eyes.
I'm sure it's bittersweet each time one "leaves the nest". So happy they're all going to wonderful homes.
I have really enjoyed watching these pups from pregnancy to present. Each one is just delicious and I cannot imagine how difficult the choosing must have been for each new owner. They are all treasures.
Honey Bear makes me melt! They are all gorgeous - great job raising them for their first 8 weeks, Ginny!
Not sure exactly but she will only have the one pup at that point. She normally raises Australian shepards. Her is the info for her website.
All so cute. Where is the breeder located in Italy? I am taking my labradoodle with me to Italy from May-August in 2012. It would be great to see some other labradoodles there. Thanks.
What beautiful healthy gorgeous puppies and each very distinctive. I'm wishing for them all happy homes where they will have the best lives ever.
