First Dog

I just saw where Michelle Obama is quoted in the newest People magazine that the First Dog will be arriving in April --they are looking for a rescue portuguese water dog............too bad they aren't going with a "doodle"

I must say that i am glad. My black doodle looks like the portuguese water dog but i drove me insane with people coming up to us asking if our blond "Is Obama's dog?". I would just simpley reply NO this is MY DOG! And they would stare at me comfused.

just tonight, DH was asked if Samantha was PWG. I hope the First Dog has fantastic life like our Doodles do!!

[Linda and Murphy]

Murphy does agility with several PWDs, 2 that we work with regularly.
Both have issues..one is so shy he has trouble competing (but he and I are buddies) and the other is dog aggressive (especially towards Murphy. I just wish Murph would stand up for himself)
There are some others that come to the trials and all seem to have their own issues...a lot of shy fearful dogs...or overly aggressive.
