Ok, so I'm not really sure what to do about my lovely Daffney scratching and trying to rip up the furniture... She has been attacking my mom's big chair (which was sorta expensive) and finally got a foot long strip off of it..Dad ended up covering it with a blanket, but I still would like an idea or something..

Does anyone have any ideas on how to stop it?
Besides crating.
and Besides the sour apple spray (doesn't work).

Please and Thank you.

Have you been allowing her on the furniture? From the beginning when Guinness would go near the furniture we would immediately tell him no and remove him. We used a leash at first for control. Now for the most part he won't even try. Every once in a while I'll catch him getting ready to jump on a chair, and I just have to give him a quick "no" and he moves right away. Unfortunately, I think the only real answer involves training so it becomes ingrained. Now even if we're not home he ignores the furniture.
