Guess Who's In Town!

A few months back, Cheryl and Finnegan and I were so happy to hear from Laurie, Wally and Charlotte! It turns out that Laurie would be in the area for Thanksgiving and suggested that we get together for a romp with the doodles! We decided to meet the Friday after Thanksgiving, such a fun day to look forward to after all that darn Thanksgiving Day cooking!! Laurie scouted out the area and found a beautiful fenced in soccer field, perfect for some doodle shenanigans! It was a beautiful chilly but sunny day! All together we had Cheryl and Finn, Laurie and Wally and Charlotte, and Tom and me with Jack and Jilly. Let the fun begin!!

It was so much fun to see them all running around and having a great time. Charlotte and Jilly are two peas in a pod, both about the same age, just over a year and both are little ones. They gave the boys a run for their money and the boys had no problem keeping up! Wally is so handsome with his flowing locks and Finn is as sweet and cute as can be! All in all such a fun day. And always so great to meet another DKer!

Someone thought it would be a great idea for a group photo. Who came up with this idea?! Let me just say that they're overrated. I have no words for my two in these photos! The whole scenario made me smile and check out how Finn just sits so perfectly through the whole fiasco!

I'm going with the story that they were running to Tom who was taking the photos!

What a fun day! F, we missed you. Laurie, I still don't know why you didn't drive the few hundred miles!

Hopefully this will be a new Thanksgiving tradition!

What great pictures and I can't think of a better way to spend the day after Thanksgiving!  The Doodles are all beautiful and definitely looks like they were fun "romping"!  Thank you Janie for sharing your "DK get together".

I do love your Jilly shot, we haven't been able to nail it yet. Jilly's been doing this thing where she leaps over the side of the sofa, over my head and body to settle in by my feet. We were speechless the first time and now it's just a thing she does. I keep telling her there's easier ways to get there. TG for good aim!

Flying Jilly is amazing in motion! My shutter speed was too slow to get her in sharp focus, darn, but I was happy that I caught her in mid-air!

Beautiful doodles!  I love all the pictures.  Very special!  We are in NJ as well - would love to meet up (especially if it's not at a beach - Libby is not all that thrilled with sand and water)!

Oh Laurie and Cheryl, I just saw your added photos. Great!!! The flying Jilly takes the cake. And I realize if the had the same haircut Charlotte and Calla look a lot alike.

Everyone is invited to my yard next Thanksgiving : ) And sooner of course. It may not be quite as big but no annoying lines : )
