HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY!

Our Buddy celebrates his 7th Birthday this month!  He brings a smile to everyone he meets.  The girls through the drivethru ask if he is a human in a dog suite :P  He has matured from a bratty little Butthead to a Beautiful well behaved (still has flashback moments) oh so special best friend.  We've trained and passed theTherapy dog testing, he holds an AKC Rally E obedience title, and we are moving on to K9 Knosework, just passed our first class.  For anyone thinking if their puppy will EVER grow up, just remember, our love, encouragement, patience and time can tame the savage beast, Buddy is our example.  The Collage is from a couple of weeks ago visiting Northern NV visiting my parents.  He adores their backyard and the Marina dogpark.

And Kona is the only doodle I have heard of who has any kind of title. You are a super dog owner and mom, and both of your furbabies are superstars!

Thanks Karen and Jackdoodle!  Both Buddy and Kona have their AKC Rally Excellent Titles :)  Don't tell Buddy, but Kona caught up to him pretty fast and never failed a qualifying leg.  Buddy sometimes had other things on his mind, like girl poodles almost in heat LOL

Happy Birthday  to your Zoe, Joanna!!!  Don't worry, it wasn't until Buddy was reaching two when he started to really settle down.  Rememer, love, patience, and obedience training ;)  We had many time outs too!

Thank you everyone for you beautiful birthday wishes.  I never would have thought I could create another super special bond with a dog after my super sweet first dog and cockapoo Scrappy.  Buddy made me work for it, but it was well worth it!

 

Linda, I took training class through a UNLV outreach course for the Therapy class, but actually passed my test through the testers of our local rescue group Heaven Can Wait.  If you want their contact number I would be happy to give it to you.  I can also send you the UNLV outreach course schedule that just came out.  Let me know if your interested and I'll email it to you ;)

BTW, where did you go for the Therapy Dog training? Does the trainer offer (regular) obedience training, as well? And I LOVE your photo collage!
