HAPPY HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY MY BUDDY

Hard to believe it's been 8 years since this big bundle of energy flew into our lives.... At 8 weeks I picked this little monster up at the airport, and in the blink of an eye, he is turning 8 years old!

He is the love of my life :) I thought when we were going through the puppy stages that he would just be a "dog", not much emotional attachment, he didn't want cuddles or love. We called him a shark as he tore threw our clothes, hands and anything else he could get his puppy teeth around. If you made like a tree, or turned your back he was just as happy to nip at your butt, or legs as he was with your hands. Almost got my nose once! That might have been his longest time out ever:) He never did that again. We got through those first two years with positive training and lot's of love. He has turned into the Best I could have hoped for. We are a team, and if I could take him everywhere with me I would.

He had a great Bday with walks, nosework and a bullystick to end the day. As you can see, he LOVES the water. The Beach is his favorite place on earth. And believe it or not, last Summer was the first time he ever went in the pool on his own. Now he will follow his squeaky ball in and swim back, we have to work on jumping in this Summer maybe.

Happy Belated Birthday wishes to Buddy...I enjoyed your post as our puppy is just 91/2 weeks old right now and I often wonder what this little sweetheart will be like when she is older. I hope she stays as sweet, cuddly, gentle and loving as she is right now!

Wow...Happy Birthday Buddy Boy!  We sure do miss you and your sissy.  I know on a first hand basis how special Buddy is and he is a sure delight.  He is just like my Gracie Doodle...the love of my life!!!  Gracie sends a big smooch and wishes he could be here to romp in the sand with her once again!  Hugs to all!
