My father on law took dubs and I to the emergency hospital. They gave me a quit moment to say goodbye. I am devastated. I just needed yo tell all of you thank you for your donations to help him. Dubs was a lover. He loved laying with ne. There will never be a kinder soul in this world. After the terrible life he lived before coming to live with us he adapted so easily to our home. We were really happy together. Thanks fpr listening.

Marissa, Please post the e~mail address to KDKA team where your husband sent the e~mail to.
May be we can all send e~mail of plea, and they may publicize the matter. We can enphasis that fact DRC had worked hard to raise $ for his rescue and recovery as well, for someone to take away his second chance for their recklessness and disrespect for life.

Dear Marissa, Seamus, 'Mickey' and Jacquie,

Prayer for a Pet’s Memorial Service

God of all creatures, ease our grief today as we bid farewell to Dublin, whose passing leaves a gap in our family circle.  He demanded so little of us – fresh water, food, a patch of sunlight for sun-bathing, our presence – and gave so much in return – uncritical, undemanding, unlimited affection and devotion for all of us.  Greeting each day, each moment, happily on its own terms, he showed us how to live in the present rather than regret the past or worry about the future.  His easy forgiveness of our flaws, his inability to hold a grudge, gave us an example of grace.
Creator, we’re grateful for being allowed to share his life for our allotted time.  We will miss him bounding through our family life, but he will always be present in our hearts.
Amen.

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

For those who are not aware I am Marissa, Seamus' and Mickey's Mom. I thank you for your kind words during this awful time! With all that Dublin had been through in his life, the abuse from his humans and the humans other dog, he was a happy boy. All he wanted was to lay with Marissa and Seamus and snuggle.
I don't understand why this happened to him but at least the last 2 weeks of his young life was spent in a home with lots of love and home cooked meals!

Marissa, My brother works for WPXI Channel 11. If your husband sends that same thing to below to them I'll see if he can help.
