Hello Shea NY

Hello, we are new to this forum. We have just adopted our little "Shea" and are curious as to what he will look like as he grows up. Here is a photo of him at 8 weeks. Father is a pure white, 75 lb. royal standard poodle and mother is a 50 lb. Golden Retriever. His coat seems rather straight a fluffy with a little waive on the body compared to the rest of the litter which had very waivy - curly coats already. Any photos of dogs growing up that once looked like "Shea" when they were 8 weeks would really be interesting to view.

Thanks for photos. Although "Shea" is only 8 weeks old he does seem very, very smart. The kids have already taught him to sit, lay down and shake paws (sometimes). He also seems to be able to find every possible way out of his corral we have him confined in while he perfects his potty training. He seems to be on target with that training also. The only real issue that is concerning us is that he likes to nip and teeth on everyones hand and clothing when feeling fiesty. His does this more with the my 8 year old son and 6 year old daughter. I figure that tghey are down at his level and he feels more dominant with them. Plus he is just a little puppy and that seems to be what puppies do. I am hopeful we will break him of this habit and/or he will just grow out of it. Any suggestions on this issue is greatly appreciated.

I have two doodles, and I had no idea as to what one of them would look like as an adult. He was a year old before I knew! The other one was pretty predictable, but not Java Joe! I pasted his puppy photo and his adult photo in this message below.

I own a LD, but he had a smoother wavey coat as a puppy, It is much flluffier and wavier now. I bet his coat will change as he grows. He is adorable. Welcome to DK
