HELP, trying to find a good home for a stray non doodle

Here are a couple pics of a stray dog that was dropped off near Lucy's groomers yest. When I went to pick her up Debbie, her groomer, said that a young couple stopped there and asked if she would take the dog. As a kennel/groomer she is not allowed, she is not a shelter. 15 mins after they left the dog came to her kennel. They must of went down the road and dropped her off. No collar. She is healthy, gentle, and we figure around 1 year old. She looks like she is part pit. I went in the kennel and played with her, she was shy at first, but within 30 sec. she was very playful and friendly. She would make a great pet. Thanks guys, Debbie will be taking her somewhere soon as she can not keep her, just thought I would share. She is such a good girl.

Yeah I would get her to a local rescue group...then they can do the work of screening homes, any vet care needed, etc.

Animal Rescue League in East Liberty will take her. It is an open door shelter.
