A few weeks ago, I had Callie's portrait professionally taken (a local pet photographer had a fundraiser and reduced her cost greatly and had you bring in a large bag of dog food for the Atlanta Humane Society). Today Callie is the pet of the day on her blog! I am posting this so you can see how cute the photos came out!! Callie was a very good girl (once we got the treat thing worked out - the photographer's dog handler was using peanut butter treats. I'm allergic peanuts, so Callie just doens't know about or care about anything peanut butter flavored. Once I brought out some dehydrated beef liver though, she snapped to attention and we got wonderful pictures!)

Gorgeous photos Callie. I love the third one down!!!! Black dogs are so hard to photograph but they did a beautiful job and of course, they had a beautiful girl to work with. Hope you got some prints to keep! I see a submission to the 2011 DK Calendar!!!!

Hey guys - Callie here (mom's at work and forgot to turn off the home computer). Thanks so much for all the nice compliments! I had a great time at my photo shoot - I must have gotten like 20 treats inside of 15 minutes. It was AWESOME. Mom wouldn't let me drink any water until the photographer was done though because she didn't want me to have a wet beard in the photos. After we took the pictures mom took me shopping for curtains. She didn't buy any (she kept muttering something about "highway robbery" and "not being made of money") but the sales ladies made a big fuss over me so I thought it was all good! Mom says she is definitely going to buy some prints, she's just having a hard time deciding which one!

What Great Pictures! My mom tells me that I'm not the easiest dog to take take pictures of only because of my color. She likes to see my eyes. Your photographer did a good job showing your eyes. It looks like you had fun.....
