I'm Leaving My Doods In the Capable Hands of DH And My DK Girlfriends

Tomorrow morning I'm heading to Atlanta for my nephew's graduation from Army Boot Camp.  I have always been particularly close to this nephew, and he really wants me to come.  The thing is.....I have to leave my guys until late Friday night.  I will be really, really worried about them.  I know that my DH will take great care of them....and I've home cooked enough food until Saturday.....but still.  So, I told my husband that if there are any problems he can either call the Vet or get right on DK and ask you all for advice.  YOU KNOW HOW I DO THINGS, so I totally trust your advice...about anything.  He knows just how to get to DK...he's a lurker.  I'm not sure if he'd have enough nerve to actually post, but if the situation was dire enough I think he would.  Joanne's husband, FJ, has set the standard for guys having the confidence to deal with all the women of DK.  Way to go FJ!  So, if you do see a post in the next few days, please be kind.

Wow, I missed DH being on here as well.  Wish I had seen him as I could have helped him out.  Whenever my Mom leaves my Dad just uses the same plate, fork and knife for every meal so he doesn't have to was many dishes.  He just puts them in the refrigerator after each meal.  Crazy things men will do.  Something tells me that your DH is pretty neat though as I've seen all the "white" in your home in your photos.  I'm not sure you could do that with a messy DH.  Welcome home.

Jane, I love your DH for the following reasons:

1) He has a great sense of humor

2) He was brave enough to post on DK

I'm back home....and it feels so good.  I missed my guys A LOT!  DH did just fine without me, although it looks like he got plenty of support here.  Could it be that my DH now understands how much fun DK really is?

Sounds like something I would do to my DH, sneaky I like it, LOL.  Maybe Guinness and Murphy can help.  Nix that, I remember Jane posting the boys drag all their toys out but never pick them up.  I guess you will have to quit lurking on DK and get to work DH, LOL

I'm in trouble.  Jane was supposed to get in at 8:00 tonight.  She just called and said they have an earlier flight and I have not even begun to pick up.  Is there anyone in the area who can come over and help me clean up?    dh

DH, I think it's GREAT that you're keeping us up to date on "the boys" while Jane is out of town!!!    AND keeping up with their training as well!!!!     You deserve a home cooked gourmet dinner when DW gets home.   : )
