Is this a suitable yard for doodle and chi?

We are still looking at houses, but there is one that is on our "short list" (term our realtor uses). 

 

I  just wanted you to see if my DK friends think this yard is suitable for Lady Peri and Taquito.  Please ignore the yard art - this photo does not do the yard justice at all!!!!!!!!!  It has a nice front yard too.  The back looks steeper than it actually is - we should be able to fence it off.  The house is pretty great on the interior - just needs paint (and it has an unfinished basement).  Outside needs fence, removal of yard art (lol) and a new roof.

The photo is deceiving, because it looks much more sloped than it is.  It flattens out considerably and our experienced realtor does not think there is a problem with water intrusion into the house and/or erosion.  Good points - thank you ALL!!!!

It looks like a Great yard for Lady Peri and Taquito!  So much room to run around and play!!  It looks like fencing it off should be easy too...so it does look like a winner as far as the yard goes. 

The house looks beautiful from the outside Allyson...and from what you say...the inside sounds lovely also.

This one sounds like it could be your future home...

make sure it drains well or you with have a big muddy mess on your hands.  my dogs pulled up the netting and got into the dirt below.  now they are FULL of mud everytime they come inside when it is wet out and not to metion trying to eat netting is not good either.

Looks like a great place for you and the fur babies...Does the yard slant down toward the house?  Just be careful of that if it rains alot, you don't get flooded and have erosion problems...But boy would my guys love a yard like that...

I know how you feel. Looking for a place takes so long and the process can be frustrating especially dealing with banks. We just put an offer on a place and after we fence it in it will be my perfect space for a new fine art sculpture / photography studio and perfect for doodle friends to come over to play.

Well I don't know how the kitchen looks but the yard it awesome!! Aside from the animal issue I actually prefer an uncovered deck because it lets so much more light into the house! Which I LOVE!!
