Just want to BRAG a little

As most of you know, I walk both my GIRLS a lot on a county trail by me -- both always off leash. It's a 1 1/2 mile stretch with no roads to worry about. Anyway today they had the most self-control ever!
Picture this --
3 gorgeous fit men came jogging past for there morning run. I said "girls - stay". They sat and watched as these three young men ran on there way. NOW I HAD A MUCH HARDER TIME but my heart wouldn't have taken the run. LOL-LOL.
Also, a lady passed with two obnoxious dogs (on leash). I told Fergie and Lucy to sit and stay and they laid down and let the "nutsy" dogs pass and we were on our way. All of this is off-leash and I never had to touch them. That was nice but the better was the first case.

Bravo, Fergie & Lucy! You are such good doodle girls! And your mom gets a lot of credit for the training work she has done with you, too!
(I wonder though, Cathy... if the two obnoxious dogs had also been gorgeous & fit...would the girls have been tempted then? :-D)

I think you showed amazing self control not to be following those gorgeous men....that must be where your doodles get it. Those things never happen to me....LOL. I can't wait until my puppy gets to the stage where we can take our walks off lead. How old are Fergie and Lucy?
