Lyric's pups are 4 weeks old--already!

It will be tough to say goodbye to these darlings---but one will be just a few miles from me at my good friend's house--YEAH!! The pups have made a successful move to the downstairs pen and are enjoying the freedom of a bigger space--they can see my dogs now and hear all the noises of the kitchen, etc--so far, they are just fine with it....in a few days, we will gate them into the kitchen and let them run!

Here are their 4 week portraits--it was a snowy day here today but so cozy with the pups around.

Viola has been our choice for future litters from the beginning (meaning she gets sold to a forever guardian home that agrees to let her have litters if she passes her health testing). She is perfect in every way--adorable, sweet as can be and so friendly--she climbs right up into my lap when I sit in the pen and gives me kisses--then she rolls over for belly rubs--this is very unusual in such a young pup--the others are just getting to know me! And those green eyes and that chocolate nose......So, I find myself repeating this phrase "I can't have four dogs, I can't have four dogs" over and over---DH is no help..he says "Why can't you?" but he would definitely pick on me if I kept her...but I am really smitten...no! I can't have four dogs, I can't have four dogs.......

OMD, I want  one...I am not particular, anyone u want to let me have, I am on the way...they are just so beautiful...I would love a red doodle, but after seeing all of these, the color doesn't matter..I am drooling..Why do I do this to myself...If only I could have another puppy...(sigh)..thanks for sharing Ginny....
