Well, tonight is Daffney's first obedience class...I'm sorta nervous. She is a little shy around dogs, so hopefully that will change. And hopefully in 6 weeks she won't bite me anymore.
I might post how she did later.
Please let us know how Daffney did...she will love playing with the other dogs if they give puppy breaks and let them play to get to know each other. We would work for 20 mins and get a 5 min break..than work for 20 mins and than questions and homework...was spent on the last 15 mins of class. It was really an enjoyable learning experience. Any questions you have you should address with your trainer and they should work with you. Best of luck in classes and don't get discouraged...lots of Practice, Patients, and Praise...
Be sure to talk with the trainer about biting issues. In our obedience classes our trainer was always eager to help with specific issues as well as the normal sit, come, stay, etc. The class should help with socialization as well.
