Most of you know that two weeks ago we had to make an unexpected trip to Maine because DH's Dad passed away.  The boys went to Daycare for a couple of days while we were gone.  Of course, I was worried sick about leaving them.  It seems that all that worry was in vain, because they were partying the whole time we were away.  There were a few dogs boarding that weekend, and the owner of the Daycare planned a little Howl-ween party for them.  She had no idea that they were charter members of the International Association of Naked Doodles, so she dressed them up....as Firemen.  I find it truly amazing that she was not only able to get the costumes on the boys, but they even kept their hats on...and posed for pictures.  When I was much younger (last year) I had quite an appreciation for calendars with pictures of Firemen...you know the ones I mean.  They have since been replaced by Doodle Calendars, which I'm sure makes my DH feel way better.  It is interesting though that both of my boys are "Calendar Doods" and here they are dressed as Firemen.   Coincidence....don't know.

In case you've never seen a Fireman Calendar...here's what they look like.  I really think my "Firemen Doods" would actually be better cover models than this guy.

Hey, it looks like Murphy and Guinness really DO like dressing up.  I think you have been fooled...they are certainly not looking like they are upset at all.  I think their Naked Doodle days are over!  Gracie Doodle is very proud of them and thinks they look really "hot"...like they are "on fire"!!  lol

OMD!  Looks like they had lots of fun while you were gone.  I too have had appreciation for the firemen, but the doodles are looking pretty cute in their firemen gear, and I, too, prefer a naked dood!!!

LOL- G & M are much, much cuter than the human fireman, and I think they might even have better abs, too!

They really do look very happy in those photos! Your daycare operator is amazing!

PS: JD says he is glad that at least they are wearing macho costumes and didn't end up as a bug or a sandwich! 

He's also happy to hear that the Naked Doodles Club is now part of an International Association, lol!
