Paz provides special support to crime victims and their families at the NYC Annual Crime Victims Vigil, April 19, 2015

Paz and I attended the NYC Annual Crime Victims Vigil on April 19, 2015, where Paz provided his magical four legged support to victims and their families attending the vigil.  There were approximately 500 people, many of whom had been victims of violent crimes, including sexual assault; also in attendance were family members of individuals who had been murdered.   Needless to say, it was a very emotional event, and Paz's presence had been requested to assist some of the victims attending the event.   During the event, Paz was given a "shout out" by the Commissioner from the NYC Mayor's Office to Combat Domestic Violence, and NY State Attorney General, Eric Schneiderman.  Paz had no idea what the fuss was about, although he did seem to strut when I was asked to bring him to the front of the podium, and everyone began to applaud.  Needless to say, between the hugs, treats and applause, Paz thinks he is "top dog"! Paz, love that big smile! You are Top Dog for sure. Can't even get my head around how many lives you've brought comfort to. You and your mom are awesome.
