Wheezy and Ellie Doodle.........it has been a long time since mom let us do a blog......we are both doing pretty good.....except last month Wheezy thought she saw a raccoon or cat outside and put both of her front paws through the storm door glass.....scared us all!!!  It was about 6:30 in the morning......we had to wait on the vet to get back from seeing some farm animals and he had to put staples in both paws......poor Wheezy....she didn't get those staples out for 2 weeks!!!

 

And me....Ellie Doodle....I have been having such a hard time with itching and scabs.....I've had 2 steroid shots....and mom and doodle dad have gotten oatmeal shampoo.....tried to change my dog food.....doodle dad did a bunch of research on line...and tried different pills for me and I was on benadryl trying to find some magic formula that would help me.   Doodle dad took me to the vet for my second steroid shot .... it had been 3 months since my first....so I did pretty good that time......but they discussed a pill therapy for me....so now I have been on Temaril and Cephalexin and I have been itch free again.

 

We hope that when winter hits I will stop having the allergy problem.....fingers...I mean paws crossed!!!  I keep doodle mom awake when I scratch so much.

 

We have been having a great summer......last summer mom and dad put us in an electric fence we we have a whole acre to run and play....we just love it!!!  We get lots of exercise......

 

While I've been writing this mom has been getting a video ready for me to post.....I wanted to show everyone our vacation we went on last week.  We went to Nashville, Indiana..... that town was awesome...it was dog friendly and Wheezy and me got to go in shops with mom and dad...whoop...whoop!!!

 

We loved the dog bakery....we got to sample lots of treats and she even took our picture!!!

 

Well....doodle dad is getting ready to take a nap.......and invited Wheezy and me to join him......so I got to go.......naps are a very important part of our day...hehehehe   *Hug*

Hi Lucy and Sophies Mom  :)   Yep....it seemed very dog friendly to us.....lots of people asked to pet the girls and they would invite us into shops......we respected shop owners and Doodle dad and me took turns going into shops and the other kept the dogs outside.....but lots of shop owners said...you can bring them in.   The PNC Bank invited us in and all the tellers and the loan officer came out into the lobby to pet the girls and give them treats.....either things have changed or we just didn't run into the undog friendly shop owners...LOL.....I would definately go back.   OH...and yep....we saw all the dog socks.....it was close to where Wheezy was barking at the big stuffed deer......

Did  you seen the Doodle Socks in the Sock store?  I might have a picture, not sure if I still have it or not.  We went a year or two ago but the dogs didn't go.  Just my Mom and Sister.  It was way too hot when we were there for the girls to go so they stayed at home.  I'm surprised  you found it dog friendly as when I was there I remember thinking it didn't seem all that dog friendly.  Good to know.  I'll post the pic if I can find it.
