Rosco got around today---and now I have one pooped doodle!

My lazy big boy Rosco got his exercise for the week today!!!
First, a hike with labradoodle puppy Noulli after lunch. Noulli is completely adorable :-) He is really into rocks and managed to carry a rather large one for quite a distance very proud of himself. Maybe Trasa will upload a video (hint, hint, hint!)

And then we hit the parade downtown. We marched with the local rescue group/dog park group/humane society group float... All of this involved a lot of waiting around (1.5 hours?) and a little bit of marching (30 min?) And Rosco and I are both now exhausted. He was the absolute best behaved dog in the whole lineup! I was so proud of him... Beaming really! While other dogs pulled this way and that and rarely sat still ... my Robert RedFUR sat while people petted him and other unruly dogs sniffed him and little kids hugged him. And then he walk nicely by my side as we marched in the parade. How did I get so lucky? While we have trained a ton, I wonder if I would've had the same results with a dog that started off higher energy than him... Who knows? Either way I love my furry apricot beast!!! Rosco is such a great representative of everything that is good about doodles! he's so calm, well-behaved, rock-solid with kids, and adorable! Auntie Karen is very proud of you, Rosco-boy!
And I always forget how huge he is! You can't really tell until you see him next to people, kids, strollers, etc. Great photos...the Christmas lights are the best! Forget the tree...just trim Rosco, lol!
