Rose Update

Every afternoon Gaston-Cramer comes with me to pick our son up from school. It's a routine that I've had with him from day one. I was a bit concerned about how it would be in the car now that we have Rose in our family and my fears were completely unfounded. I thought perhaps they'd want to play and it would be too much. Oh my goodness! She was as good as gold! The two of them sat in the backseat and just watched the world go by and both looked earnestly for Kyle to come out of his classroom. It was soooo adorable! Rose just fits into our family like she's been here forever. What an incredible testiment to April and her program at Cliberdoodles. What a well adjusted dog. She has absolutely stolen our hearts and Gaston-Cramer's as well. He just loves her!

They play so sweetly together and it truly is like a brother and sister would play! Rose finds a toy that she knows GC wants and just stands there looking at him as if to say "got ya!" and he just follows her around until she drops it....and then they just switch roles! It's his turn with the toy and she follows! LOL They play so nicely together...and as you can see from the photo on top they share quiet time beautifully together as well....it melts your heart!

This really makes me want a doodle sibling for Peri. But DH won't allow it and Taquito the chihuahua would be way to mad right now =(

Yes I absolutely love watching them together! Gaston-Cramer is ALL boy and Rose is 100% girl! She watches him walk in the stream in the back yard and sees him get all muddy and then will come to me and give me a look like "Look at the mess he's made!". Gaston's had ATLEAST 3 visits to the shower since she's joined our family and at best she's had a towel rub down on her feet!! Too funny! But you're right....the bond is fast and furious. What I find remarkable is that they play so quietly. Right now they are wrestling over a stuffed frog....sharing it back and forth.....and there's not a growl or a peep out of them! Just a mass of white tumbling as one! LOL Ok....I take that back.....Rose has the frog now and won't give it to GC and he's now giving her a bark to give it back! LOL Too funny....

They are beautiful together.....they truly make a striking pair. Add Bindi aka "Mini Me" to the mix and we shake our heads and say when did we become a white dog family! LOL What funny looks we'll get when we take the three of them out together! They'll think we shrunk one when they see Bindi next to them! LOL Sadly Madison can't venture out with us any longer due to her HD but will enjoy the peace and quiet! LOL

[Jane, Guinness and Murphy]

Don't you absolutely love watching them together? I guess I never realized just how much Guinness wanted a brother or sister until we got Murphy. Now I watch them chasing each other, wrestling over toys, and just cuddling up (the puppy loves to sleep right on top of Guinness in the bed), and I'm amazed at the bond that has formed. Rose and GC are so sweet together.
