Some puppy portraits! Lyric's pups are 5.5 weeks old Updated pics!!

Hi all--the pups have been keeping me very busy and no time for blogging! I have had a LOT of company as everyone wants to come see the puppies now that they have reached that cute as a button stage--and of course, the socializing is great for them. Also my son has come home for Spring break so I want to spend some time with him too!

But I have some new pics that were taken by me and by a new friend--some of you may know Madeline who owned Mowgli, a giant GD that was an awesome therapy dog and a model for the Hollister stores---the poor guy died suddenly from Lymphoma at the age of 7 and Maddie and her family are just devastated....she and her husband drove 3 hours the other day to meet my dogs and pups as she MIGHT purchase one of our babies one of these days--she needs some more time to heal but she enjoyed her time with the puppies, especially one that looked like Mowgli as a baby--and Rio was a big hit too--especially when he jumped right up on Maddie's husband's lap and made himself at home--my dogs are not very well trained..

Here are some pics Maddie and a few of my "special girl" Penny with the Easter bunny...future momma doodle maybe?? Hopefully she will find a great guardian home, as 4 dogs are 1 too many for me!!

This first pup is our big boy Copper who looks just like Mowgli did, but won't be 100 pounds as an adult--I hope!!

UPDATE: Here are the the curly girl and the Champagne boys (the "party boys") The curly girl (Peaches) will be headed to Italy as a possible addition to the therapy program for autistic kids--this is the second of Lyric's pups to go there and they love the first one! I already added the Party boy pics, but as a comment and maybe no one knew they were added...

Also, Penny, shown with the bunny below,  will now be known as Tango Wool's Sweet Nightingale and her call name is Tweety! I got my name in there as a co-owner!

Ginny - I'm curious what their temperaments are like as far as dominant/submissive?  I have a guess as to which one might be "top dog"...

The puppies are all so gorgeous and I'm with Laurie, I'm in love with Nemo but I'd settle for Frosty. :>)

The Italy girl, who is very smart and spirited, will be on the plane with the breeder--she gets the trip for free, but donates the puppy--Here is DJ from Lyric's  last litter in Italy as part of the same program...the man is the mayor of the town--they had never seen a doodle before, so he was a bit of celebrity! The woman on the right runs the program.

That's great that Peaches will be doing such a worthwhile thing. I know Bo produces wonderful gentle intuitive temperaments - perfect for therapy. So the cross with a beautiful therapy girl like Lyric- wow! They are all such beautiful pups I hope they all get the BEST people!! I'm in digital love with Lucky - even though his coat might be straighter -- and Saffron. Yay for you and Tweety! Love her name!

Nemo will be gone in a heartbeat!  OMD I can't imagine a Doodle flying all the way to Italy Ginny.  Will they come and fly back with the puppy?  Just the pictures have made me attached to them, I will miss their sweet little faces:)

Families come this weekend to meet the pups and decide on their top three--do you think Nemo will be on all the lists? I do! When the breeder saw him for the first time in weeks the other day, she was astonished! She wanted to keep a male instead of a female--but I talked her out of it--we need a pup to replace Lyric!

I will let you all know how the visits go...
