It's not me.
My nearly 4 year old came into our room this morning and whispered that Rosco told her he wants a kitty. We went along with it for a bit then she admitted she actually gave him this idea and "Mommy can we go to the pet store to look at kitties?" My answer disappointed. She then offered plan C: Let's go to the breeder and buy a puppy! Final negotiation was that when she turns 10 we can buy a puppy. 5 minutes later she brought me a piece of paper and marker so we could make a list of names for said way-far-into-the-future puppy. Haha...she cracks me up!

I dislike cats.... really really dislike cats. But then I spent the weekend with the sweetest thing- she talked back when I talked to her, loved being petted, has never jumped on the kitchen counter, and apparently her owners swear she's never done anything naughty. That kind of cat I would take in an instant.
She was mostly like my doodle, except Charlie is funnier, always has his paws on the counter (looking for cheese, I assume), and is slightly naughty.
So cute!!!
She cracks me up, too! I have a feeling that her teen-aged years are going to be a wild ride!
Adina, I'm laughing because I think a puppy is the least of your worries. Wait until she gets to wanting a pony
:-)
Cute!
She won't forget! What a cutie.
Black and white goldendoodle? You are in luck. My black and white goldendoodle came from Washington, and you know where. It is a good idea to get a puppy sometime before the elder dogs get too old to help in the training of the puppy. When we got Harpo (when Hondo died), Groucho took to him immediately, but it would have been nice to have him before we lost Hondo. I think we learned that lesson with Bruno. A dog who has lived their life with another dog becomes so depressed when their companion passes over the bridge.
Natalie is so darling. I think I would also opt for a kitty.
Uhoh Adina. She'll be 10 before you know it and a high level negotiator in some mega firm thereafter.
