Stormy Night

Am I the only doodle owner who is kicked out of their own bed when it Thunders? Last Saturday night as my husband and I slept peacefully we were rocked out of our bed by the thunder of four paws and two children running down the hallway and leaping into our bed!!! Bailey took up the entire bottom part of our bed with his head under the covers, wish I had my camera charged, it was quite a site!!!

We had a major T-storm on Saturday and there was one extremely loud blast of thunder. Both dogs stopped what they were doing and looked at me. I didn't react so Finn kept chewing his toy but Yankee came over to get petted. He was fine after that.

We had some really loud 'thunder bumpers' last night. A couple were close and loud enough to rattle the windows. But Harlow was unconcerned.

I use to have a cockapoo that as soon as she saw a flash of lightning she whould jump on my lap and shake. Nothing seems to bother Lilly I am happy to say.:)

I love T-storms, because we practically never get them here. Our storms are just rain and wind, or snow and wind, or sleeet and wind, - boring! lol

LOL..such a precious moment, those storms were not pleasant but my two didn't seem to mind it, we were out in it actually when the storms started here, they behaved really well in the car and in the apartment. My neighbors dogs all bark and don't like the storms.
