Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hi All,
It has been so gratifying to witness the spontaneous collaboration that is taking place between the for-profit sector, including corporations such as Wag.com and others, who have partnered with the non-profit sector to provide support for pets and their owners who have been devastated by the hurricane. Cesear Milan, however, who has made a fortune by marketing his training approach and products, seems to be absent in donating any support to non-profits providing essential and life saving supplies to pets who are victims of this disaster. I have checked Mr. Milan's facebook page, his website on which he sells his products, and there doesn't appear to be any mention of his donating any profits to help these pets. I hope I am wrong, and would happily stand corrected if anyone has heard or seen differently. I do not begrudge Mr. Milan his success, however, I would be extremely disappointed if he did not have the empathy or compassion to reach out and assist the very community that helped him achieve his success. If I am wrong, please let me know.
There is a new facebook page entitled "Hurricane Sandy Lost and Found Pets" which has pictures of all the pets that owners are trying to locate, as well as pictures of pets that have been found but whose owners are unknown. It will break your heart; Perhaps Mr. Milan could use his notoriety to assist in helping these animals who are listed on the facebook page.

I hope you are right and perhaps he is helping through his foundation.
It is wonderful to hear how people are pulling together for the animals during this horrible time for them. I haven't heard anything specific about Cesar being involved or not but he has a great history of stepping up during such times. He was very involved with the animals affected by Katrina even taking some of them to his facility in California. Early this year he helped out the rescue organizations involved with the Colorado Wildfires. He has a foundation which offers help for such situations too:

He may have donated under one of his foundation names...hard to say.
