Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

We just adopted a beautiful male Goldendoodle that is precious! What a wonderful wonderful organization! Dr. Judy in Boca Raton, FL was the most helpful person I have ever worked with! I love that people care soo much these animals to work sooo hard at providing wonderful homes for those that are less fortunate. I am soo excited that in researching puppies I ran acrossed the IDOG, and decided to rescue rather than get another puppy! Thank-you Dr. Judy and IDOG for our new Baby Shaggy!

Hi Angie - please go online to a yiddish/english dictionary and look up "kvelling" because that's what I'm doing over this wonderful story! Wishing you and your family happy days with Shaggy!!

This is Shaggy the IDOG rescue... he still needs alot of work grooming, but spent 4 hours getting the matts and awful mess out of him... but he is handsome, just like his older brother "Doodle". I love Goldendoodles... what a wonderful breed of dog!

The Doodle Messenger (http://doodlemessenger.webs.com)has added updates on our sick Doodles from their owners. Updates are also available on two lost Doodles: Coal and Charlie; and two new Doodles have been added to those lost. Please look closely at the lost Doods in case one is near you. A second column by Dr. Alice Villalobos and an update on Rusty by his Dad, Chuck Holliman, have also been added. We continue to add to our resources via the Links section (many are using the Veterinarian schools and universities there to search for specific information on illness and for general medical canine information). Several new thoughts have been added to Paws In the Garden and we thank the submitters.

We are so pleased Doodle owners across so many forums are helping us grow the Messenger...just this week two police departments, three shelters, and one large newspaper were able to go quickly to our site and see photographic information of the lost dogs there. A real and unexpected bonus for the owners of those Doodles.

Please submit to the Messenger, any resource we don't have listed but you find helpful as a medical resource, blogs as well. All resources for Lost Doodles are at the bottom of that page rather than in the Links section. Thank you for your support in our first year. We know the owners there also thank you.

Hey Angie, you are pretty fabulous too. How many people leave work to pick up a sheltered Dood, get part way there, get a call the shelter is closing, return to work, and turn around the next morning (taking another day from work_ and drive 3 and a half hours EACH way to get their forever Dood? Yup, thinking you are a very special Doodle mom and I'm very proud of you! Hugs to Doodles and his new brother, Shaggy!
