The vet

Took Toby to vet on Friday. Always adventure as he does not really like car ride. We were sitting him in back seat with my son on past occasions but poor Tommy gets all eaten and licked . This time we put him on the back part if the SUV. Let's see.... He whimpered , cried , barked , tried to climb over back seat, licked the back windows , took some quick locks of my son's face in the backseat . In other words, a ten minute drive felt like two hours . And this Friday I am planning to take him to the groomer for the first time. Oh boy ......

When Oskar was younger, he was afraid of the car...so, I took him for a short ride every day...he sat in front with me & I just talked to him & petted him.  It didn't take long...maybe a week...before I could tell he relaxed & liked it..  Now, if either of our dogs see me put my shoes on, they run to the door to go in the car...Oskar spins circles he's so excited...try it :)
