Two days and a wake up

Puppy. Puppy. Puppy! It seems to be the chant around here as the countdown continues. We're so nervous. We're so excited. We're just so.... SO! :-) What is he going to look like? Is he going to look just like his photo or is he going to be different somehow? Fluffier? More shaggy? What is he going to be like? Inquisitive? Or hesitant? Is he going to be happy with us? I hope we make him comfortable. I hope he has a good ride to his new home. I hope he loves us half as much as we already love him. I hope he's ready for cuddles and snuggles and playtime and sleepy time and potty time. I hope we have the patience to learn together. I hope we don't *ever* need to call Cesar Millan! :-) ARGH! I already can't sleep for thinking about Saturday! (And I know we're not going to sleep well for a while after he gets here either!) How are we going to make it through the next two days??

It is going to be a ton of fun and hard work at the same time. He will love his new home...he is a puppy....they love people, kids, other dogs and playing, cuddling. You will have all weekend to get started with potty training etc. He will love you unconditionally. You do need some sleep before he arrives so you have lots of energy for him. Close your eyes and dream of puppies.

Take a deep breath! You will be exhuasted before Saturday and you will need all your energy to play in the grass, stand and guard over P&P time, cuddle and snuggle in your arms while very person you know takes tons and tons of pictures!! Take videos - there is only 1 homecoming (mine wasn't anticipated so the pictures honestly stink!).
One major piece of advice tho I am sure you already thought of it - pick a P&P spot that you want him to use forever and you won't mind the grass never growing back; it seems that Samantha still loves her 1st spot although I have tried to move her away from it - she wins!
