It's been nine days since Charlie arrived. He's very calm for a puppy his age (most of the time). He sleeps a lot. He's had seven accidents in the house since we got him. Started the bell training today. I didn't think the bell was going to be necessary before, but I was wrong. He's doing great with "sit" and "down". I began clicker training today and used it outside last time he went potty.
He still has challenges in these areas:
1. Digging - We are looking forward to getting him into half-day doggie daycare to expel some of that energy. Can't do it until he gets his third set of shots.
2. Attacking (in play) his smaller, but much older sister, Shelby (our Jack Russell).
3. Play biting our 7-year-old special needs son. Cameron now avoids being around Charlie due to that. I can stop it when he play bites me. I press under his tongue until he stops biting and warn him beforehand. But getting Cameron to stop him is a different story.

Play biting should be less when your puppy is exercised but not over tired. This may be the best time for Cameron to interact with Charlie. Unfortunately the nipping will no doubt continue for a few months.
What a cutie. Lots of typical puppy behaviours here. If you are seeking advice, join the puppy madness group. There are lots of answers there. Congrats.
