I just had fergie to the Vet. IT'S HER BIRTHDAY ON THURSDAY. I am so happy with her and my breeder. When I was looking for a breeder I said I wanted a doodle on the smaller side but I did want the poodle to be a standard. I just think standards have a calmer sweeter temperament. I'd seen many big doodles with very long long legs. Not that there is anything wrong with that but that was not the look i wanted. Anyway at 1 yr old Fergie only weighs 42 lbs. and she's 21" at the shoulder. My breeder said her puppies got to be 45 - 50 lbs. I don't think I believed her. But she was so right. She turned out to be so exactly what I wanted. Thank you Red Cedar Farms of MN.

Do you remember what she weighed at 8 weeks? Miley weighed 5 1/2 pounds. Her little paws are tiny compared to her 12 pound brother. I am hoping she stays on the smaller side.

Denise, we too have a 5 month old (turned Feb 11th). She was the runt of the litter but made up for lost time, went from 11 to 42 lbs and we are predicting about 22 inches tall and 60-65 lbs. Since we seem to be on similar paths do you agree? The past three weeks or so her growth has really slowed down so maybe she'll end up around 55

Look at her - what a cutie! Our Abby weighs close to that and she is only 5 months old (on Valentines Day)... I wanted a big dog tho so this is great for me.
