Tomorrow will make one week since we picked Maggie up, and oh my goodness what a week it has been!!! Nights one and two were terrible, just absolutely terrible, she did not whine or cry, she SHRIEKED like the loudest banshee you could imagine. My husband is still convinced that that plump little puppy belly isn't a stomach but in all honestly it's just one full grown lung. LOL:) after night two things started looking up considerably. She didn't cry, but whined just a couple of times. I set my alarm for 3:30 because she doesn't whine when she needs to go out, and she can pee on a dime. she doesn't even sniff before she goes, she will be just romping around in her play pen and boop! there she goes, peeing. Luckily she isn't ever unsupervised so I typically catch her. I'm just gonna say it, she is always in her play pen. I get her out to take her outside and to train or cuddle but other than that she's in there during the day with me sitting near it or around it at all times. If i didn't I wouldnt get anything done and Jace would be fully neglected, when she is out of it she is into everything. Crawling under tables, beds, couches, behind the tv, the end table... you name it. When she is too big to fit behind or under those things..she will get more freedom but for now she's in there, and she actually likes it I believe.
Last night I forgot to set my alarm and woke up at 6:10 this morning with no potty break for maggie in between.... I paid for it. I woke up this morning and sure enough she had peed in there. :| I really hope this isn't a huge set back or anything. but she had done it on the t-shirts in the corner, so I took those out and all that's in there now is her bed. maybe she won't pee again. *fingers crossed* Jace and her are getting along grand now! They cuddle and bite each other, depends on if it's sleepy time or play time.
They're hilarious about balls too, if jace has one and maggie has another they both want the one that the other has. Silly Doodles. I am going to brag on Maggie though, we have not had any poop accidents and when we took her to the vet for a general health check up she was "perfect" in the vets words, no intestinal parasites, good weight, heart, lungs, ears, mouth, and eyes! YAY! She's very vocal compared to Jace but I'm not complaining, it's nice to have a conversational dog:P I am a lot more calm about the whole puppy situation now that we have a set schedule, and I have learned to set my alarm for 3ish for the next couple of weeks or so, and also, if I ever get another puppy, GET AN EX-PEN! (that thing has saved my life an sanity.) My life is a whole lot more interesting now, and honestly it's kind of nice. :)

Adorbs! :)
Such a little cutie. This phase will pass soon enough!
So glad it has gotten easier. She is so cute and it looks like the two of them are going to be best buddies!
Emily so happy things are going a little better now! I think Maggie being in the pen right now is ok. It is just like having a baby, you have to do what is best for you at the time. I love the picture of the them getting some cuddles and love time. So sweet and they are defintely bonding while doing this. She is soooo cute:)
